Jordan understood that ACDC did not have the finance for the Summer Palace Hotel. Elizabeth Smith had told him the Chinese had given ACDC a mid-September deadline to come up with the funds. It was a pity ACDC were going to miss out again. They were a good organisation with good ideas and only needed one successful project to launch themselves.
