You have no doubt thought of this already, but it occurs to me that we really ought, to speak to the French about this. They after all are supplying the nuclear reactors, and will be sensitive, I would hope, to the implications for Framatome (not only in China) of a disaster stemming from defectively supervised foundations. But their public statements so far do not carry much conviction. It also seems to me however that it would be more effective to have the necessary quiet word in their ear in Paris or London, rather than Vienna. What do you think?
