An Ordinance to amend the Commodities Trading Ordinance.

Short title.

Amendment of

section 11.

(Cap. 250.)

Amendment of section 12.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Commodities Trading (Amendment) Ordinance 1987.

2. Section 11(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) in paragraph (b) by deleting “and”;

(b) by inserting, after paragraph (b), the following-

3.

“(ba) shall not, with a view to gain for himself or another or with intent to avoid loss to himself or another, make use of any such matter; and”.

Section 12(1) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "person who has been appointed under or" and substituting the following-

"public officer".
