BUDGETARY AND FINANCIAL PROVISIONS

AND AMENDMENTS TO REGULATIONS AND RULES

THE COUNCIL,

HAVING REGARD to Articles VI, XI and XII of the Convention establishing the Customs Co-operation Council,

HAVING REGARD to the accession of the Central African Republic to

the said Convention during the financial year 1 July 1986 to 30 June 1987,

HAVING REGARD to the Financial Rules,

HAVING REGARD to the Staff Regulations and Staff Rules,

CONSIDERING the Report on the Finance Committee's 63rd Session,

HAVING REGARD to Council Decision No. 229,

DECIDES

1. To approve the accounts for the financial year

1 July 1985 to 30 June 1986 submitted by the Secretary General after verification by the Auditors and as summarized in Annex I to this Decision and to acquit the Secretary General of his financial responsibilities for that year.

2. To endorse the changes in the Staff Rules implemented by

the Secretary General in respect of salaries and allowances effective from 1 July 1986 and 1 January 1987, in accordance with the corresponding provisions adopted by the Co-ordinated Organizations.
