Amend the Rating Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Rating (Amendment) Short title and Ordinance 1987.

(2) Section 7 shall come into operation on 1 April 1987.

2. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of subsections (3), (4), (4A), (5) and (6).

3. Section 7A of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of subsection (1).

4. Section 10(b) of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) by inserting after "building" the following-

"or structure"; and

(b) by inserting after "buildings" the following--

"or structures".

5. Section 11(1)(b) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "as respects a list to which section 7A will apply" and substituting the section II. following-

"for the purposes of that list or new list".
