possible, while you are looking through the files, we would be interested in any documentary evidence that shows that the contractor had complained or communicated with Government to say that, you know, those drawings are not detailed enough for me to follow a tight

programme.

MR CHEUNG: Well, Sir, you will probably find that the number of items in that correspondence is considerable. It would probably be a very thick file even if extracted from the total

records.

obviously are interested in finding out the truth.

MR CHEUNG: The answer to your question is yes, Government was requested and pressed, for details and detailed drawings but they were slow in coming. Some of it is due to change in scope.
