while the contract is going, that part of the structure has to be delayed because you cannot go ahead with the structure without the finalising of the design of the coils. The coils that cool the surface to turn water into ice, and that sort of thing, and any ice-skating rink again you have to alter the design of the perimeter wall of the arena for instance, so it is design. You can imagine the work is in progress while you are changing the design. I mean that affects progress and that you have to give the additional time to the contractor. Inclement weather

two months minimum per year, and that would have been something like nine or ten months already. Maybe a year of extension for weather, and the bit that is attributable to difficulties is
comparatively small in that twenty-seven months. I mean adding the screen again. It requires design. Checking whether the structure can actually hold the weight. I mean, that requires design. Ordering and so on, it is major alterations we are talking about. I mean it is additional works.

It is said the delay of twenty-seven

at pains, described to us the effect on the additional works. What would you say is the percentage if you were to divide the twenty- seven months into
very crudely into these two main areas?

Because to us it would have been reading first of all, difficulties encountered during construction would have been the major cause of delay. You put that first. Or the Report put that first, and then to additional works ordered.
