Notes:

1. First definition of AE and IUR of Wessex and Scout helicopters will be dependent upon an appreciation of the garrison's helicopter support requirements to be provided by CBF Hong Kong. (See Annex F Appendix 2).

2. Serial one reduction is subject to achievement of operational capability by 2 HKGAW Dauphin helicopters assigned to assist the garrison's half company IS lift requirement.

3. Joint Sqn formation dependent upon decision to implement serial one and on outcome of applicable feasibility studies (see Annex F Appendix 2).

4. Serial 3 reduction is dependent upon assumption by RHKP of all military tasks and the

resultant reduction of the garrison's half company IS lift requirement to a simultaneous platoon lift.

5.

The residual force must guarantee the operational availability of 4 Wessex and 4 Scout (3 once the garrison reduces to a single battalion group).
