OPTIONS FOR OWNERS
All owners will be offered compensation not less than the FMV of the premises.
If you meet all the eligibility criteria then you will be offered the choice of-
Either
(a) A public rental housing flat and the FMV of your current flat
Or
(b) (i) A cash payment to assist you to purchase an HOS flat (see
page 7)
Plus
(ii) Priority status by Government in purchasing an HOS flat.
Alternatively, if you wish to purchase a flat in the private sector you may apply for, in addition to any cash compensation, an interest-free loan to purchase a private sector flat under the Home Purchase Loan Scheme. Details of this scheme will be announced in due course by the Housing Authority.
