Mr. Clift said that the reception accorded to the

Queen in Guangzhou had been a heart-warming experience for

her. He thanked Mr. Yang for all past co-operation and that

still to come. He passed on the greetings of the Acting

Governor. He finished by saying that the sort of relationship

shared by two sides made their dealings deserving of the pharse

"mixing business with pleasure".
