Police Headquarters had asked me to advise you that Mr. R.H. Anning, Commissioner of Police, has, in the light of recent developments in Fiji, decided not to undertake his previously scheduled visit to that Territory.

Mr. Anning is, however, proceeding with his duty visits to Tonga and New Zealand. Mr. Anning is scheduled to arrive in the United Kingdom on 2nd July, 1987 where he will be on Annual Leave until 27th July, 1987.

During the time that he is in the United Kingdom Mr. Anning will take the opportunity of visiting the Metropolitan Police, the Sussex Police, the Police Staff College at Bramshill and HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary at the Home Office.
