Enclosed is a copy of a note I have done about a visit I made to Macao last month. It may prove to be a useful piece of paper to give to anyone who enquires and of interest to members of the HKTAG perhaps. Members of the ports group which went to China recently, especially Davy Morris, may be intersted in the port proposal. The incineration plant would also perhaps be worth notifying to any specialist companies we might have. Rubbish keeps on accumulating unless you do something about it, so there is some chance this project might be carried out. I am not sure whether any of the other items will come to anything. The viability of the bridge will depend residential and industrial developments on Taipa and Coloanne.

Macao is such a sleepy hollow that one cannot help thinking that major developments have been left rather late. Thre was some talk of making it a major financial centre during our discussions, but that really must be pie in the sky.
