MACAU AGREEMENT

CULTURE, EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

16. Provision that the SAR "shall protect cultural relics" in Macau according to the law.

RIGHT OF ABODE, TRAVEL, IMMIGRATION

17. Provision for Portuguese born or resident for 7 years in Macau and who have taken Macau as their place of permanent residence to have right of abode.

18. No catch all provision giving right of abode to those with right of abode only in Macau before the establishment of the SAR.

19. Entry to Macau from the mainland to be regulated "in an appropriate way".
