5. If the Secretary of State agrees in principle to an interview, but is unable to find time in practice (he
will be in Japan for the first part of the delegation's
visit), he might care to invite another Cabinet Minister
with an interest in China (eg. Lord Young) to agree to an
interview. The delegation of journalists will be here to undertake appointments in London during the week 1-5 June
(thereafter they will be in Scotland).
