and park to pick up and let down the pupils (green markings). It was agreed at the meeting (20 Sept 1983) that safety forbade their making use of the slope down to the school; besides turning is impossible at the bottom and they would clog the road. The road must be left free for the eight buses serving St Margaret's College.

These six buses must make use of the small road ( x ) to turn, get into place and park; the side road marked red is private and blocked by a chain. At (X) there is a Refuse Collecting Point of the U.D.C The big truck of the U.C does not come when the buses are there but wait until the area is free.

Several teachers, those who can be free, help outside the school in ensuring safety; I myself am there daily with my own duty to carry out. The Headmaster aided by one or two of the men teachers help in making the flow traffic as smooth as it can be made. This is all well knownto the Traffic Department of the Police and the leadmaster's work has been taken notice of by the

Commissioner for Road Safety in so much that Mr.0.Lam, the leadmaster was invited only last July to join a Road Safety Organisation that had been invited to go to Thailand.lle was with that group.

This propsed Access Road would :

a) add to the heavy peak time traffic on Shiu Fai Terrace b) upset the balance worked out already

c) make the turning of the buses hazardous

d) make the risk to the pupils all the greater

Perhaps I should add that those wishing to gain access to L.L 2071 S.B would find that an exasperting buisness at times-at the times they would most probably be returning or leaving that area. They would, were it possible, prefer to have an access road from Kennedy Road.
