The Council noted the contents of memorandum
XCRI (87)16.
The Council noted that following enactment of
of the
Immigration (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, it would no longer
be possible to deport KMT agents who have achieved seven
years residence in Hong Kong.
The Council suggested various amendments to the
Annexes to the memorandum.
