The Council considered memorandum XCC (87)63.

The Council ADVISED and the Acting Governor ORDERED :

(a) that an offer of a

civil

service

pay

award

with

1987

effect from 1 April

should be put to the Staff

Sides of the Senior Civil

Service Council, the Model

Scale 1 Staff Consultative

Council and the Police Force

Council (paragraph 27 of the

memorandum);

(b) that at the same time, the

Staff Side should be told

that while it notes the

reservations of the Staff

Side, the Government accepts

the results of the Pay Level

Survey in principle and will

now consider how they should

in civil
