(i) by deleting "prescribed" in both places

where it occurs and substituting in each case the

following

"specified";

(ii) by deleting the comma at the end of

paragraph (d) and substituting the following

"; or"; and

(iii) by inserting after paragraph (d) the

following

"(e) is of the opinion that any new lift or

escalator would, if operated, be likely

to be operated in contravention of

section 29(1),"; and

(b) by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the

following

An order under subsection (1)(a)

(b), (c) or (d) shall continue in operation

until the Director has received from the

owner of the lift or escalator the

prescribed fee and
