that the British Nationality
(Miscellaneous Provisions)
Ordinance
(Amendment of
Schedule) Order 1987, at
Annex D to the memorandum,
should be made;
(a) that
(e)
the
(Amendment) (No.2)
Immigration
Regulations, at Annex C to
the memorandum, should be
approved in principle to be
referred back to the Council
when the Bill has passed
into law; and
that in due course the right
to travel to China and Macau
on identity cards should be
specified in the legislation
as a positive right rather
than being provided for by
means of the Director of
of
Immigration's
powers
exemption.
