in the Legislative Council

the Chief Secretary should

make a statement;

(c) that in his statement, the

Chief Secretary should leave

open the possibility of

extending the Home Purchase

include those on the waiting

list for public housing;

(d)

that the Legislative Council

should subsequently be given

the

opportunity to debate

the proposals;

(e) that

there

should

be

consultation with the Banks

on the administration of the

loan scheme; and
