in Yuen Long, New Territories

NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT UNDER SECTION 11(5)

Fursuant to section 11(5) of the above Ordinance and notwith-

-standing the Gazette Notice 2772 published on 15 August 1986 and 22 August 1986, notice is hereby given that the Secretary for Transport proposes to recommend to the Governor in Council to amend the plans and scheme relating

to the roadworks already considered and referred to in Gazette Notices 3453

and 3733 dated 29 October 1982 and 25 November 1983 respectively. The

proposed amendments are shown on Plan Nos. NH 6156, NH 6157, NH 6158 and

YLPR 51 and described in the scheme annexed thereto, which plan and scheme

have been deposited in the Land Office.

The general nature of the proposed amendments is as follows :

(a)

Shifting of the route alignment by a maximum

distance of about 65 metres to the east at Yau

Mei San Tsuen for the section from Yau Mei San Tsuen

to ai Tsai.

(b)

Replacement of the single trunk road bridge at the

proposed Fairview Park Interchange with two shorter

bridges and an earth embankment in the middle.
