Dear Sir,

The tomb on the hill at the entrance of Mai Po (locally

known as "Hung Fa Lan"; Crown Land Licence No. Y20977) is the place

where Mr WONG Sun-loong, the first ancestor of the Wong's family of

Chuk Yuen Tsuen, and his descendants Kwun-chung and Siu-kee were

buried. Knowing that the authorities are planning to have the tomb removed, we clansmen firmly demand that the original appearance of the tomb be preserved so as not to affect "Fung Shui". On 8.4.1981, we filed a petition at Yuen Long District Office, stating that the

tomb had a history of 500 years, "There is record on file".

Our

clansmen request that N.T. Development Department and authorities

concerned can reconsider the zoning of the soil excavation area so

as not to affect our "Fung Shui".

Tel. Nos.: 0-6563826

3-7800217

Yours faithfully,

WONG Yat-ming,

WONG Kai-chi,

descendants of the Wong's family
