Acting on behalf of his client, the objector pointed out that his client owned a well, water tank, pumping and power stations inside the lot which would be resumed by Government for the road works. With the cutting off of water supply from the well, extra costs would have to be incurred in running the farm when water from the Water Authority was to be used.
The named items are affected by the road works.
Modifications to avoid demolishing those items are considered not possible.

Although Government has explained to the objector that the assessment and award of compensation, if any, would be made in accordance with the provisions of the Roads Ordinance and that withdrawal of the objection would not prejudice the award of any compensation for which he might be eligible, the objector refuses to withdraw his objection.
