Clauses 1, 2, 4 and 5 were agreed to.

Mrs. Pauline NG addressed the Committee and moved an amendment to clause 3 and the clause, as amended, was agreed to.

LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BILL 1987

Question proposed and put.

Clauses 1, 3, 6 to 12, 16, 19 to 22 and the Second Schedule were agreed to.

Mr. HU Fa-kuang addressed the Committee and moved amendments to clauses 2, 4, 5, the heading of Part V, clause 15, the heading of Part VI, clauses 17, 18, the First Schedule, and

Schedule, and the Long Title and the deletion of Part IV; the clauses, headings, Schedule and the Long Title, as amended, were agreed to.

The Council then resumed.
