MOTION OF THANKS

The Chief Secretary moved the following motion:

That this Council thanks the Governor for his address.

Miss Lydia DUNN, Mr. Peter C. WONG, Mr. HU Fa-kuang, Mr. WONG Po-yan, Mr. CHEUNG Yan-lung and Mr. Hilton CHEONG-LEEN spoke on the motion.

The President suspended the sitting of the Council at 4.27 p.m.

The Council resumed at 4.50 p.m.

The President suspended the sitting of the Council at 6.35 p.m.

The Council resumed at 7.00 p.m.

The Chief Secretary, in accordance with Standing Order 68, moved the suspension of Standing Order 8(2) after 6.00 p.m.
