Legislative Councillor, elected in 1985 by lawyers belonging to the Legal Functional Constituency.

A Roman Catholic, Mr. Lee was called to the Bar in England in 1965 and the Bar of Hong Kong in 1966. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1979 and served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association from 1980-1983. Being a member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Basic Law Drafting Committee, Mr. Lee is heavily involved in the drafting of the mini-constitution of the HKS AR.

A medical doctor actively involved in public services and the promotion of democracy and human rights. Dr. Ding had served on several advisory committees of the Hong Kong Government, including the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Environmental Pollution Advisory Committee and the Action Committee Against Narcotics. He was also a Commissioner of the Hong Kong Government Independent Inquiry Commission into the Hong Kong Telephone Comp an y and the Honorary Secretary and vice-president of the Hong Kong Medical Association. Presently he heads a number of local and regional church health councils and committees.

representing a population of about half a million in the district. Mr. Chan is a chartered engineer by profession.
