Mr James SO Yiu-cho, who is currently

acting Secretary for Administrative Services

and Information, will become Commissioner

for Transport when Mr Peter Leeds, the

present Commissioner, leaves the civil

service in April on completion of his

contract;

Mr Peter TSAO Kwang-yung, the present Minister

for llong Kong Commercial Relations with the

European Communities and the Member States,

will resume duties as Secretary for

Administrative Services and Information

in place of Mr So; and

Mr Steuart Webb-Johnson, Deputy Secretary

for Trade and Industry, will be posted to

Brussels to succeed Mr Tsao as Minister for

Hong Kong Commercial Relations with the

European Communities and the Member States.

The above postings will take place between February and

April.
