The Queen will be pleased to receive you in Audience
on Wednesday, 4 March at 12.40 hours.
The dress for you is morning coat with black waistcoat, and for your wife, day dress (not black) with hat and gloves. You should arrive, a few minutes before the time specified, at the Grand Entrance to Buckingham Palace, where you will be met by a Private Secretary or Equerry, and your wife by a Lady-in-Waiting.
A little nearer the time I will arrange for an official car to collect you from 34 Danvers Street (off Old Church Street), SW3 to take you to Buckingham Palace. The car will wait and return you after the ceremony.
