As with Small Claims Adjudicators and Special Magistrates,
the aptitude of these Presiding Officers for conducting proceedings in
Cantonese without the benefit of advocates whilst keeping a
contemporaneous record in English deserves high praise.
The Coroner's Court

The Coroners and their staff are fully occupied. I have no
recommendations about efficiency or effectiveness and do not trespass
on the ground of the Law Reform Commission which is considering the
functions of the Coroner's Court.
