Section 20 of the principal Ordinance

by inserting after subsection (1)

the following

( of 1986.)

"(1A) The right of a person

to claim under section 4 of the

Fatal Accidents Ordinance 1986

(for bereavement) or under section

20C(1) of this Ordinance (for loss

of society) shall not survive for

the benefit of his estate on his

death.";

(b)

in subsection (2) by deleting paragraph

(a) and substituting the following

-

"(a) shall not include

(i)

any exemplary damages;

(ii)

any damages in respect

of the loss of any property that

would or might have vested in

the deceased if he had not died

when he did;
