John Boyd wrote to you on 30 April 1985 to inform you of the offer made by Roy Henry to provide training assistance to the Royal Brunei Force. The Director of Personnel and Training of the Royal Hong Kong Police has written to us recently to say that there has been no response to that offer and that he does not intend to take the matter

any further. Whilst this offer is closed, the Police are now involved in organising special training with the Special Duties Unit for the Special Combat Squadron of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. This is scheduled to take place in May 1987. If it would be helpful to you to know more details, let me know.
