REPATRIATION OF BRITISH NATIONALS (OVERSEAS) (BN(0)S) TO
THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (SAR).
Problem
1.
Should we continue after 30 June 1997 to repatriate
destitute Hong Kong BN (0)s from third countries to the
Hong Kong SAR, if necessary at HMG's expense? Should we
be prepared to say so if asked in the context of the
present exercise to explain BN (0) status to third
countries?
