Mr Enoch Powell requested extra time to debate the Hong Kong (British Nationality) Order. Mr Biffen agreed to consider the matter.

Mr Eric Forth requested selective debates on future EC Supplementary budgets. Mr Biffen agreed to write. The Treasury have been asked to prepare a reply.

Mr James Wallace requested early statements on any new developments following the Chernobyl Nuclear accident. Mr Biffen accepted that undertaking.

Mr Harry Greenway asked if the debate on civil nuclear matters will encompass international safety standards. Mr Biffen noted the point.

The Lord Privy Seal is content not to have briefing on the subjects raised.
