The proposal that non-ethnic Chinese BDTCs in
Hong Kong should be granted British Citizenship, together
with the proposals on the ex-servicemen and the BN(0) passport endorsement, is still being carefully considered
by the Government. No decisions have yet been taken.
Beyond that, I am afraid there is little I can say at the
moment. However I hope that it will not be long before
we have something to announce.
