LEGISLATIVE COUNCILS OF HONG KONG BY THE COUNCIL OF HONG
KONG INDIAN ASSOCIATIONS.
The Humble Petition of the Council of Hong Kong Indian
Associations showeth that:

This Petition is submitted by the Council of Hong
Kong Indian Associations ("the Associations") on behalf of
the Hong Kong Indian ethnic community ("Hong Kong Indians")
and other members of the non-Chinese ethnic minority
population of
Kong who are British Dependent

aim of persuading Her Majesty's Government ("HMG") to grant
to the Hong Kong Indians and the other persons mentioned in
paragraph 1 hereof British citizenship and the right of
abode in the United Kingdom ("UK") in anticipation

Government of the People's Republic of China ("PRC") on the
