HONG KONG: NATIONALITY ORDER IN COUNCIL

388

307

1. Lady Young has seen on her return from the Falklands a copy of your minute of 26 February to Mr Galsworthy about the handling of the Hong Kong Nationality Order in Council. She is by no means as sanguine as the Lords Whips (paragraph 3 of your minute) about the difficulty in securing the Orders' passage through that House and, if Mr Renton would like it, would be prepared to have a word with the Chief Whip (Lord Denham) about this.
