NOTICE TO BRITISH NATIONALS (OVERSEAS) ON VISITING THE UNITED KINGDOM
The United Kingdom welcomes visitors from Hong Kong. This leaflet sets out the
position under the United Kingdom Immigration Rules as at the time of the issue
of your passport. This is reflected in the endorsement on page
which reads:
"In accordance with the United Kingdom Immigration Rules the holde
this passport does not require an entry certificate or visa to visit
the United Kingdom."

The 1983 Immigration Rules provide that a passenger seeking admission to the
United Kingdom as a visitor must satisfy the immigration officer that the v
