He thought that it would be more convenient if the BN (0) passports could be endorsed to the effect that holders had the right of abode in the HKSAR. He hoped that both the British and Chinese Governments could find satisfactory means to overcome this problem. He also urged the British Government to do her best to seek recognition of the new BN (0) passport.

In the end, he thanked Mrs. Carrie LAM and Mr. K.T. LAI for attending the meeting.
