Educational Programmes

educational programming should be left

to the public broadcaster and to the

licensees acting pursuant to the

requirement that they be responsive to

the diverse needs and aspirations of the

community.

Documentary Programmes

(h) there should be a minimum of

60 minutes of documentaries each

week on each service, of which not

less than 30 minutes are to be

produced locally; and

(i) because of the ready application of

multiplex sound to documentaries,

the Broadcasting Authority should

review the above requirement after

its introduction.
