27. Clause 31 makes it an offence for a person to
exhibit a film or display advertising material in respect
of which a certificate of approval has been revoked or has
become invalid or in respect of which a certificate of
exemption has been revoked.
28.
Clause 38 amends the provisions of the Places of
Public Entertainment Ordinance specified in the Schedule,
revokes the Film Censorship Regulations and makes a
consequential amendment to the Television Ordinance.
29. The cost of the introduction of the film
classification system is not quantifiable at this stage,
but it is estimated that the implementation of the
inspection and enforcement provisions of the Bill will
require the appointment of 5 inspectors involving a
recurring expenditure of $450,000 per annum.
