We shall nevertheless discuss these proposals further with the BBC
see if any can be developed in a way to meet FCO objectives cost-effectively.
7. Other development projects which will need continuing support include the modernisation programmes at Bush House and Caversham Park (the BBC Monitoring Service). In addition we shall need to consider later in the year whether we should provide funds for any proposals which the BBC may put forward for an external television service. The BBC are studying the feasibility of such a service at present and are expected to report in a few months time.
