The Hong Kong Post Office have requested us to notify you of the allocation of a DNIC to Cable & Wireless (Hong Kong) Limited ("C&W(HK)").
C & W (HK) proposes to introduce a new "Public Switched Document Transfer Service" to the USA. The service is to be established using packet switching technology on a network separate from the existing packet data network.
C & W (HK) have requested that the DNIC 4540 be allocated to this service.

The Hong Kong Post Office have considered this proposal and find it acceptable. Accordingly we, as the Administration responsible, have been requested to notify you of the allocation, which I hereby do.
