This Ordinance amends the Fire Services

to extend the application of the Fire Services Department Welfare Fund established under section 18 of the principal Ordinance to the civilian members of staff of the Fire Services Department; and

to provide that a subordinate officer or member of other ranks may be ordered (subject to a right of appeal) to make recompense for loss or damage resulting from the neglect or fault of such subordinate officer or member of other

ranks.

Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
