1.2 Financial Targets

1.2.1 In paragraphs 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 of document A/AC.96/677 (Part I), the Executive Committee was informed of the High Commissioner's recommendations regarding the revised 1986 and proposed 1987 General Programmes. financial proposals have now been amended to take account of the changes in refugee situations, plans and assistance orientations reflected in Documents A/AC.96/677 (Part II)/Add.1, A/AC.96/677 (Part VI)/Add.1 and A/AC.96/677 (Part III)/Corr.2.

1.2.2 As a result of the changes referred to above, the revised 1986 General Programmes target of $ 306,934,100 and the proposed 1987 total General Programmes budget of $ 339,140,000 submitted to the Executive Committee in Table III of document A/AC.96/677 (Part I) is being amended as follows:
