UNHCR has sponsored their requests and has pledged to provide adequate financial support during their stay in the Philippines pending resettlement in another country. Four of these applications were filed with the Ministry of Justice in April 1985, 1 in September 1985, and the remaining 1 in January 1986. To date we have received no official feedback, from the Ministry regarding these applications. Annex D provides a list of those for whom applications have already been filed with the Ministry of Justice.
