Vietnamese Refugees in Hong Kong:

Resettlement in the Netherlands

I have just received a copy of Mike Hall's letter of 27 November 1986. We are grateful for your and his efforts on our behalf.

I lunched the Dutch Mission while they were here. We understand that they have agreed to take 53 refugees from Hong Kong (rather than the 50 planned). I asked to be remembered to Michel Den Hond who, I agree, has been a good friend to Hong Kong.
