Subject: our education project in Hong-Kong refugee camps

This is to confirm that we are definitely going to start our education project in Hong-Kong.

view of this, Miss C. Cenalmor will arrive in Hong-Kong on 8 July and she will report to your office as soon as possible.

Our first volunteer will arrive early in August.

Could you please let us know if there is any formal action we should take before starting our programme and if there are any special regulations regarding entry visas, work permits, etc.

During our visit to Hong-Kong last April, you mentioned that in case of E.S.F. starting its programme in Hong-Kong, you would try and approach some potential private donors to fund our project. We wish to let you know that we have also asked a 50% financial support to the U.N.H.C.R. We should be able to fund 25% of the total budget. An additional 25% i.e. about 11,500 US#, are still to be found, and your assistance in this matter will be highly appreciated.

Cathay Pacific Airlines has recently opened a new line Paris/Hong-Kong, and we

are planning to approach them to ask a contribution to our project,

tickets to e.g. by providing free air

from volunteers. Mr. Cox, British Embassy in Paris, suggested that you would have bigger chances of succeeding in this matter.
