M Plaisant said that the new PUS would be welcome to visit M Ross; Mr Ratford might like to accompany him and have separate

Coordinators' talks. Mr Ratford said that Sir Antony Acland had been sorry not to be able to visit before his posting to Washington. Sir P Wright would like to make an early visit and the weeks beginning 29 September and 6 October would be possible.

Trade: M Noir and Mr Clark were meeting on 17/18 May (Mr Clark would be interested in priorities for the UK presidency on EC external issues).
