immigration of Jews, resulting in the turning away of

immigration, including returning Jews to Germany and

using Navy ships to intercept refugees at sea eg SS

Cossacks and Yugoslavs. At the end of the War, in

conditions of considerable confusion, some thousands of

people, not all ex-collaborators with the Germans, were

forcibly handed over to Stalin's and Tito's forces.
