8. After the meeting Mr Waddington promised to let Mr Volfing know how links between the EC Offical Working Group and UNHCR would be established. In particular, was it a matter to be pursued by officials or was a formal meeting between the Chairman of the Group and UNHCR envisaged? (Mr Morris for advice please.)
